Trump's Granddaughter Seeks Professional Tips from Tiger Woods Ahead of LPGA Debut

Young golfer preparing for significant competition

This young athlete has impressive online following

The young golfer can count on multiple prominent backers when she makes her first LPGA appearance this Thursday.

This teenage golfer, who is the granddaughter of a former US president, received a sponsor's invitation to play at Florida's Annika event in the Sunshine State.

The former president, an avid golfer, owns numerous courses worldwide and regularly plays against Kai.

"He's fairly competent. I can't say much but we play tight competitions," she stated.

Kai explained that her grandfather, who cannot attend, counseled her: "Simply stay calm."

"He practically told me to go out there and enjoy myself," she added.

"To me, he's simply a normal grandpa. He's not attending this weekend. He's occupied with presidential duties, so he's somewhat preoccupied."

While still amateur, the golfer has played in a mere three competitions this year and has position 461 in AJGA listings.

But she can seek guidance from golf legend, in a relationship with Kai's mother.

"He represents the top athlete in the world," Kai stated.

"Furthermore, he's a more impressive human being. He told me to play, enjoy myself, and go with whatever happens."

Kai will face some of most prominent players in professional golf at this tournament, featuring second-ranked the champion, England's Charley Hull, Lexi Thompson and 2023 champion champion Vu.

The LPGA stated that Kai's presence helps introduce golf to different demographics, specifically reaching youth audiences.

Kai has millions of followers and recently launched an exclusive clothing and lifestyle company.

The competition starts at 17:30 GMT.
